Native American genealogy research from the Piedmont of NC & VA
I haven’t been able to keep up well with all this the past few months, with moving and all. I’m trying to remember . . . I’ve been seeing the name Vaughan coming up the past few months, and just lately I saw a very early mention of it, by some researcher who seems to consider it significant. I cant’ recall details.
It’ll come back to me, I suppose. Or maybe a search with the site’s search feature will find it.

Think the “Cherokee” part of “Cherokee Blackfoot” be a derivative of “OCHENEEKEES?”
