Native American genealogy research from the Piedmont of NC & VA
Hello everyone…just wanted to mention a local (for me) Powwow that is upcoming: it is The Native American Return to Tawawa Springs Powwow on April 26 and 27 in Wilberforce, OH. The addy is: 1350 Brush Row Road, 45384. This event is hosted by Richard Haithcock…he can be reached for Q’s at:
(937) 219-8311.
Because I am near Cincy and close enough to the Dayton area I plan on attending on at least Saturday…grand entry both days is at noon. I have never before attending this event but I am very much looking forward to seeing some cousins old and new. So…if you have the notion and are close enough to scoot over then please join me/us…I’ll be the palest one there dancing til my toes ache and shopping the vendors like a flea market junky…oh…and knoshing on Fry Bread. So…bring yourselves and join along as I dance in honor of our dearly missed cousin, Aubrey Gale Cole who I miss more than words can begin to express.
Hope to see some (or lots) of you there~~~Laurie
I wish I could be there Laurie…blow a kiss to my nieces and nephew when in Dayton, will you…I miss them so! I just got a photo of them, seems they’ve grown a foot!
Have a great time, I would have liked to have met Richard and drawn some of his Gibson knowledge. Have a safe and blessed trip!
