Thanks, Bill. I hope that info helps. I presume it’s as accurate as any info out there can be, with it being from the courthouses, with there always of course being room for error.

If anybody can help me find my “Indians” in this line, or in David Short’s line, or advise me on where to begin to search it out myself, I’ll be so very grateful.

PS Re: David SHORT – his full name was David Easlin Short or Shortt. I see it spelled slightly more often with one T. However, Great-Grandmother Viola, David and Elizabeth’s daughter, told us herself that her name had been spelled SHORTT, and I often see her name and her siblings’ names spelled as such. Interesting.
