November 24, 2008 at 7:16 pm #32748Thank you for the heads up on that. It looks like it is going to be a great piece of work!
November 24, 2008 at 7:16 pm #32785Pretty cool…but interesting thing is…the first thanksgiving was by the Hatteras tribe……Scott Dawson has been teaching me alot about the Hatteras….and one thing he taught me was about the real first thanksgiving…..it was in the 1580’s…..the English colony was low on food…so the Hatteras went and brought them a huge feast. The Hatteras tribe and the English all sat down and ate until they could not eat anymore.
But of course they do not teach about that one on tv 🙂
Oh…The Melungeon vocies documentry may be coming to PBS sometime soon also…not entirely sure but it may be….I think it’s getting some final editing touchs. The documentry is really good.
But yea…thanks for the post…..I’m defiently going to keep my eye out for that one.

November 24, 2008 at 7:16 pm #33491There is no listing currently on PBS website, but, did find screenings for it in several places. I guess just keep checking your local pbs.org.
