Epiphany … I could have NA in all four grandparents.
Appears this Burley, according to that tree is an Immigrant
Name:Elizabeth Burley
Arrival Year:1750
Arrival Place:Virginia
, yet is listed as Birth 1736 in Frederick, Virginia, United States.
Hate conflicting records….
August 10, 2004 at 9:22 pm #37054In a search, I see another Horton also married a Butler in Mecklenburg co NC as well.
My Ezra Horton b.1763 VA, evidently was a horse breeder..as he had “blooded stock” from VA he brought
to Coshocton co OH as one of the “earlies settlers” (so what were the people there before?). The same source
references my McNabb settlement, yet nothing on my Parrish who marries him, and their child marries a Horton.
Another source says Ezra is a native of Va, yet the family was originally from Ireland. As well says when he
came to OH he settled the site of a “present” Mohawk village?
