I got an e-mail Friday from the sponsors of last month’s Powhatan Native Pauwau regarding this weekend’s Richmond powwow.

Unfortunately,I only found out about it yesterday.It probably would take me

less than 2hrs to get there.I really wanted to go today but I have other plans:(

Cool, I’ve seen some videos of events inside before for the nc events.

I’m working on having some events for us.

It may take me until either next summer or maybe the summer after that….but I am working on having some events.

I’ve been real busy the last few months…..I’ve been gaining alot of outside connections from groups who want to see the collins, bollings, harrisons, gibsons, austins, erwins, etc etc to be out having events together instead of being seen as “outsiders” at these other events.

I’ve made a few connections with a ex senetor who is into the idea also….

I’m trying my best to work on a “common” ground…or well “Neutral” ground type thing so all the descendants can stop arguing amongst themself.

I’ve been finding that outsiders have been using the arguments we have amongst ourselves…against us……so we are basically giving the outsiders the the ammunition to keep us from progressing.

But yea….I am working on having some events for us….

My wife and I attended the Pow Wow in Mechanicsville at the Showplace. First indoor pow wow I’ve ever went to. Not too bad considering it was raining outside.
