As I was looking for information on the Greens for Techteach in my trusty Keel-Whitaker book I started to look up some other names as well.

Here is some Riddle information.

Pamela Kay Keel b. (still living) AL married Thomas Stuart Riddle, Jr. who was born in Washington, D.C. son of Thomas S. Riddle, Sr. and Lila Clair Scott. They have a family in the Berwood, Maryland area.

Sorry on the dates. I’m trying to start getting in the habit of not posting dates for people that are still alive.

I show Riddle entries on pages 35, 152, 153, 197, 496, and 559.

Can you tell me what your sources are for the presence of these people in York County, VA, Louisa and Hancock Counties in VA, Amelia County, VA, Essex County, VA and the Pee Dee River basin in SC? I assume these are places where the Collins family was found, not the Riddles?

Also, in reference to the Cooks mentioned. I recently came across some information about a John Riddle being the first Riddle to come to America (VA specifically). He married a Mary Cook. I don’t know what county they were in, but it was VA.

Blackindiangirl, sorry for the delay in answering. I hadn’t researched the Waller side of my family much, what I have found is I am descended from Dorothy Jemima Waller (born 1758), daughter of Edmund Waller (born 1718) and Mary Pendleton. These folks are from Spotsylvania Virginia, so they are probably related to the folks you mentioned, allthough I don’t recognize the names Benjamin or John Waller. I would be interested in any Waller info you may have.
