Yep, you’re right.. I was thinking that if she’s coming from Bassett, taking 220 gets her to Greensboro, and taking 220 south to 73/74 will get her to Mt. Gilead. At least that’s the way we come and it’s a pretty straight shot, and not much traffic, either. And there are signs off the Highway that lead you right to the powwow…
January 8, 2010 at 3:28 pm #35427Hello; My Sister
I really enjoyed the time we spent with you; brother Ken and the rest at Town Creek. I pulled up the events calender and did not find the dates and places of the Pow Wows we talked about on Saturday I was hoping that you could post them or give them to me . As Janice and I are planing on attending them.

January 8, 2010 at 3:28 pm #35431Rick,
Blackstone and Ft. Story which are done by Chief Walt Brown are posted. The Pee Dee that is in Oct. is posted. We will probably go to Blackstone since we promised that one before we were invited to Pee Dee, both are one day. Waccamaw is posted, and we hope to go and make a weekend of that. We went last year and had a good time, well except for the yellow jacket that tried to eat my tater chips….let me know of any that you heard about that aren’t posted and I will try to get the details for you. It was good seeing you and your family yesterday….it was good being with all the family…well, missed Cindi and Timmy.
