Becky do you have a listing of the pow wows in May? I will be there the 9th for graduation and plan on spending a few days in the area.
Hey Shirley,
Will you be able to do powwow and graduation on the same day? We plan to be at O.S.P. on the 9th. Probably be back home Sunday or Monday. Would love to see ya again.

December 30, 2008 at 3:56 pm #33089Hey Bee, it would sure be good to see you again as well:) Many things have to come together for me to make it down…I really want to, but if I cannot they will mail my degree…not quite the same, especially after all that hard work. It was fun, but it sure would have been easier if I would have done this 20 years ago…lol.
They haven’t posted times for Sping graduation, just the day. I will definately let you know if I am coming to the area…I would like to have some time to do a little research too:)
We so enjoyed our stay at O.S.P. and would love to visit again:) I will keep you posted.

December 30, 2008 at 3:56 pm #33133Thanks, Becky.
See that Ft. Hamby and Town Creek are the same weekend again… :~(
Otherwise, it would be cool to include Spruce Pine and Ft. Hamby in one big camping trip.
December 30, 2008 at 3:56 pm #33136Yes, I know. We tried to get them changed, but, it is easier for the vendors that come to stay in the area and do all of them at one time, much like you would want to do for camping….guess it makes sense. Oh well….
December 30, 2008 at 3:56 pm #33138Yeah, that makes sense. Just wishing we could go to all the ones we like.
Just saw this…
The 44th Annual Haliwa-Saponi Powwow will be on April 17-19, 2009 at 130 Haliwa-Saponi Trail, Hollister, N.C. 27844
That’s all the details mentioned, but it least there’s the date.
December 30, 2008 at 3:56 pm #33153Yes, quite a few of them only have the dates listed. I guess as they get closer we can get more details. Also, waiting for Thundertrails to be updated as well. Hope you are staying warm…….
Aho
